Despite living on a literal prison island, her father wished her to grow up as a member of the nobility, and be worthy of inheriting the title of Duchess when she came of age. Wils, as she prefers to be known, thought that was stupid, since they lived on a literal prison island. She went to school and did her lessons, finding comfort in books that she couldn't get from people. People were complicated and unpredictable. Numbers, though, had rules and strictures and made sense, and Wils found them soothing to work with. She excelled in maths, to the exclusion of some of her other subjects. <br /><Br /> Wils has no official gang or crew affiliation. She doesn't need one. She has a knack for record-keeping, and for accounting that makes her an invaluable neutral party in Isle politics. Any leader worried about their ledgers can bring them to her, for a fee, and she'll examine them carefully. If there are discrepancies, she'll find them and make them known. She also has an eye for appraisal, and keeps up with the prices in the Market. Two parties need to work out a fair trade on items, she can make that happen. She has some manner of protection in her father's name, since there are several men loyal to Wesselton who will keep her safe, but she also can fend for herself decently well. She's not sure what to make of people leaving the Isle/the Barrier coming down, except that it means she might be able to find more like-minded people, and focus on her chosen fields of studies.
